The iPhone is back, this time with 3G connectivity and a whole slew of other features that are sure to excite any Apple fan.

The phone comes in two colors depending on how Gigabytes of internal memory you choose. If you opt for 8 Gigabytes then you’re stuck with black, but if you spring for 16 Gigs then you can choose between black or white.

At 12.3mm deep this is a really thin phone that can easily be carried around. Even though it compared to the 2G model this is a little thicker. The size is forgiven when you consider how much technology this phone packs.

The 3.5-inch touchscreen is multitouch compatible which puts it light-years ahead of other touch phones. The screen resolution is a very sharp 480x320 which makes looking at cover art a pleasure to do.

As an mp3 player, this phone succeeds mightily. Lots of audio formats are accepted including AAC, MP3, and WAV. There is a very handy 3.5-mm headphone jack on the top of the phone which connects to a variety of headphones.

There are lots of great connections available including Tri-Band 2G and Quad-Band 3G. There is also wi-fi to surf the internet.

The battery life of this phone is very strong with up to 5 hours of talk-time on a 3G network and 10 hours of 2G. 300 hours of stand-by time enable this phone to be by your side even when not in use.
