Sony Ericsson's new W350 Walkman music phone is one of the first flip phones we have seen from a major manufacturer in a long time. And as old as the design is, it really makes sense for a music phone like the W350. Sony Ericsson calls the design "Walkman on top" because of the music keys that are accessible when the flip is closed.
Those keys provide some minimal navigation abilities in lieu of a d-pad, but are primarily intended for controlling the Walkman music player. To that end, they do the job adequately, it seems. Because of the thinness of the flip, the buttons don't offer much travel, but they do give the user enough tactile feedback for them to know what is going on.
